První mezinárodní symposium na téma „etika ve vědě“ se koná od 13. do 15. listopadu 2008 v parku Punta de Vacas na hranici mezi Argentinou a Chile.

Pozváni jsou vědci a odborníci z různých častí světa (Velká Británie, Chile, Venezuela, Argentina, Bolívie, Indie, Rusko, Španělsko, Kostarika, Itálie). Řada z nich již potvrdila svou účast.

Na seznamu pozvaných jsou také prezidenti mnoha latinskoamerických zemí. Symposium je organizováno Světovým centrem humanistických studií.
