The Invisibles against US missile defense

We thank all the friends who are on hunger strike or who support this action that has a lot of sense.
From the beginning, we wanted to associate the other organizations in the action.
From the first days , we spread the messages of Tami and Gerardo and asked for help through the various networks, French-speaking as well as Dutch-speaking.
Persons of various associations provided help for translation and relay of the information.We tried to associate our action with another event in Brussels: since three weeks already, 250 persons occupy a church in Brussels and went on hunger strike to obtain their regularization. We were in touch with them and we made them the proposal to join us in a more global frame (disarmament - immigration) for the fight against a violent economic and political logic.
We sent letters to the embassy of Tchèquie, to the authorities in Tchèquie, to the US embassy, as well as a press release in the media and to the political parties.
The campaign of signatures was spread to all our contacts, and several personalities of left political organizations and associations recognized at the national level signed the petition, on personal behalf. On Sunday we made a distribution to inform and have the petition signed in the district of the institutions of the European Union.
In the next days, we are going to continue the distribution in the street, the contacts with the Belgian members of parliament and the media.
