On the 16th of August the Community for Human Development organised a WISH Promotion activity for the World March in a park in Amsterdam.

40 persons from different organisations and multicultural musical groups participated actively in the realisation of this promotion day, such as Women for Peace, Raging Grannies, Godia, Asadaaka, Women Bazaar, etc.

During the day visitors to the park received information about the WM and its themes and were invited to join the WM and the activites of the day: 1000 steps for the WM, painting for Peace and Nonviolence, a short march through the park, etc.

The atmosphere was very good and joyful and new initiatives came to life. A common picnic added to the general reinforcement of friendships and the making of new ones. A young bellydancer danced her steps for the WM in front of the World March banner.
