The President of the Muslim Union of Togo and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Togo publicly stated his endorsement of the World March for Peace.

His Excellency Bouraima Inouss, President of the Muslim Union, and the Togo Council of Imams have announced their support for the worldwide Peace initiative.  The public announcement of their endorsements took place on the 12th of June in the central mosque of the Togolese capital, Lomé, after 1 o'clock prayers.  The announcement was made in front of the congregation of the more than 8,000 faithful Muslims.
