Lindis Percy was remanded in custody for 45 days by Harrogate Magistrates Court on April 21st. This was for some minor fines for so called aggravated trespass at Menwith Hill and Fylingdales.
Lindis has constantly refused to pay these fines which stem from protest actions against American Bases in the UK which are part of the Space "Shield" that led to strong protests in the Czech Republic.
Lindis is the co-chair of the Campaign for the Accountability of American Bases: www.caab.org.uk and a strong endorser and organizer of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence in the UK: www.theworldmarch.org
