The historical moment (Forum) started in PK College as per scheduled time. It represented a meeting of all those, whose interior resounds the clamor for a humanize Nepal. Who works for the common aspiration of Nepalese people towards the Universal Human Nation in Social, Political, Moral, Cultural, Ideological, Spiritual and Human Fields.
The First Nepal Humanist Forum brought together from different organization as a moment of reflection on the current situation of our country and discuss sustainable and feasible alternatives of actions to improve our society in the areas of Women, Youth and Communication, Education, Health and Quality of Life, Environment, Cultural Diversity and The Role of Nepal in Asia Pacific Region.
Women:
Women are given priority in different sectors for empowerment but it is yet to be implemented in the real scenario. Both all the concerned agency and we need to expand non-violence campaign for women. The man and woman is two wheel of one tandem. Only one wheel of tandem cannot take the direction of goal. If one woman comes up from the violence, she can lead the society for nonviolence.
Youth and Communication:
Lack of practical education and right communication most of youth need to suffered from different kinds of violence. Like; political, economical, social, cultural, moral, sexual etc. So the concerned agencies need to do the program to stop utilize youth in the sector of violence. It is important to make right policy for the youth. When they completed their study, they need not to go out of country to fulfill their economic problem and to over come from political mis-utilization.
Education:
Violence comes form lack of education and consciences. The education is the backbone of development. Education needs to be practical to control any kinds of violence.
Health and Quality of life:
Without the conscience of health and hygiene it is impossible to make happy and prosperous life. Without happiness people cannot think positively because the peace and non-violence always depends on the positive thinking. So it is very important to be happy and healthy to realize the vision of "Humanized the Earth".
Environment:
We cannot think our life without preserving environment and bio-diversity for our future generation. We should use our natural resources in the sustainable manner without degrading our environment. Nation must take practical policy for the community to make "Long lasting Peace and Beautiful Nepal". It should be based on nonviolent environment and human friendly environment.
Culture:
Though we have different culture, we should accept each others’ culture internally because of being human being. We must always keep in mind" Basudhaiva Kutumbakam" which means all the human beings are family of the earth.
The role of Nepal in Asia pacific Region:
After long conflict, Nepal has been changed in new republic country. It is the result of solidarity of all Nepalese for the Peace and non-violence. In this condition, all over the world want to welcome Nepal in this great change. It could be a step to support for the movement to "Humanize the Earth". Last but not least, it is the exemplary for the whole world in building peace.
The framework for this forum is strongly rooted in the ideas of Peace and Non-violence as conditions and the approach to the ways to produce advantages that make sense and open the future for all of Nepalese people.
The most important of this event is a good exchange produced and we feel that with open communication we learnt that is important.
Once again, thanks a lot for all participants from different countries and regions of Nepal.
See you in next forum…
PEACE.... FORCE.... JOY....
